"Rahm" Pakistani New movie (2016) | Starring Sajid Hassan, Sanam Saeed
The governor of Lahore, Amir Sultan (Sajid Hassan), is a just and compassionate ruler. However, he falls ill and is forced to take a leave of absence. In his place, he appoints Qazi Ahad (Sunil Shankar), a strict and inflexible man.
Qazi Ahad quickly sets about imposing his own brand of justice on the city. He arrests and sentences people for even the slightest infractions, and he shows no mercy to those who are convicted.
One day, Qazi Ahad arrests a young couple, Hassan and Zohra (Sanam Saeed), for fornication. The couple claims that they are married, but they have lost their nikah papers. Qazi Ahad refuses to believe them and sentences them to death.
The governor, who is watching everything from afar, is horrified by Qazi Ahad's cruelty. He disguises himself as a faqir and enters the city to intervene. He meets with Hassan and Zohra and learns the truth about their situation.
The governor then confronts Qazi Ahad and orders him to release the couple. Qazi Ahad is furious, but he knows that he cannot disobey the governor. The couple is released, and the governor is restored to his rightful place.
The governor's mercy and compassion are a stark contrast to Qazi Ahad's harshness. The story teaches us that justice should be tempered with mercy, and that forgiveness is always possible.
The film ends with the governor delivering a speech to the people of Lahore. He reminds them that they are all equal in the eyes of God, and that they should treat each other with kindness and compassion. He also urges them to always forgive those who have wronged them.
The film "Rahm" is a powerful story about the importance of mercy and forgiveness. It is a reminder that we should always strive to be kind and compassionate, even to those who have hurt us.
