to the vibrant city of Lahore, where he carves out a prosperous path as a
businessman. Eventually, he fulfills his promise and reunites with Heer in her
village. Alas, their reunion is ephemeral, as Heer's father dispatches
assassins to eliminate Ranjha, resulting in his tragic demise.
The loss of Ranjha plunges
Heer into profound despair. Consumed by a broken heart, she succumbs to sorrow,
and the two lovers are united at last in death's embrace.
